Technology has given the Christian church a new platform to further spread the Gospel message. Podcasts are a form of media today that is widely used by Christians today. Different preachers record their sermons that they give to their congregation each week, and then they either upload them to their church website or send them to Itunes where they can be downloaded for free. This podcast revolution allows for sermons on Christianity to reach parts of the world where these resources are scarce. Matt Chandler, is the lead pastor of a church of 10,000 people in Dallas and his sermons are one of the most downloaded free podcasts on Itunes. Chandler's sermons are able to reach more people than ever anticipated because of the advances in technology and the willingness of the Christian Church to accept this new form of media and use it to benefit their mission.
